The Robert Bruno Steel House, affectionately known as THE BRUNO, is a historic Hub City icon renowned for its audacious design and status as a masterpiece of modern architecture.

Created by the visionary sculptor and architect Robert Bruno, this awe-inspiring structure has gained worldwide recognition for its fusion of art and engineering.

Started in the 1970s and made from 110 tons of hand-welded, rust-colored steel, The Bruno defies traditional architectural boundaries. Its spaceship-like form is a testament to Bruno’s three-decade-long labor of love, a project in which every angle and weld was meticulously crafted to evoke a sense of movement and life.

The exterior reflects Bruno’s artistic mastery, while inside, the same attention to detail is carried through in custom steel stairwells, arched doorways, and vibrant stained glass. With 2,450 square feet of space, The Bruno features three bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and a fully remodeled gourmet kitchen, blending modern amenities with Bruno’s iconic vision.
